Our Approach
To address these challenges, we implemented a strategic design process:
User Research and Insights:
We began by conducting interviews and surveys with both employers and job seekers to understand their needs and preferences. This research highlighted the importance of visual storytelling in job listings and informed our design direction.Concept Development:
We developed the concept of Branded Jobs as an elevated job listing experience. This feature includes customizable elements, such as banner images, that employers can personalize to align with their brand identity. For those who don’t upload a custom banner, we designed a sleek default gradient that maintains a professional appearance.Visual and UX Design:
Our team crafted a user interface that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. Employers can easily add multimedia elements, such as images and videos, to their listings. This allows them to showcase their company culture, office environment, and team dynamics, giving potential candidates a richer understanding of what it’s like to work there.
Results
Increased Employer Engagement: Employers have embraced the Branded Jobs feature, using it to differentiate their listings and highlight their unique company cultures.
Enhanced Applicant Experience: Job seekers enjoy a richer, more engaging experience, leading to higher application rates for listings that utilize the Branded Jobs feature.
Positive Feedback: Both employers and job seekers have provided positive feedback on the feature, praising its visual appeal and ease of use.
Brand Differentiation: Reed has strengthened its position as a forward-thinking recruitment platform by offering this innovative, premium feature.
4. Interactive Elements:
We integrated interactive elements that allow job seekers to explore multimedia content seamlessly. This includes an image gallery and video player, providing an immersive experience that goes beyond text-based job descriptions.
5. Prototype and Testing:
We developed a prototype and conducted usability testing with real users to gather feedback and make iterative improvements. This ensured that the feature met user expectations and functioned flawlessly across devices.
6. Implementation and Support:
We collaborated with Reed's development team to implement the design and provided ongoing support to ensure a smooth rollout. We also created documentation and guidelines to help employers maximize the potential of the Branded Jobs feature.
Email Design for courses
Created specific course emails based on a users criteria and to entice them into purchasing a course with stats and data
Average Salary tool
Recreate the average salary tool that was currently on the website but never appealed to any user to use as it was poorly designed.
Data tracking
After creating the average salary calculator tool we tracked it to gather data on further iterations. I was glad to see the page views went up dramatically due to my redesign.
New ATS landing page
Create a new landing page for reed’s integrate software. It must include all three features of what it offers and some imagery which i created using illustrator. Check it out here reed-integrate
